Assembywoman Duprey to Retire
See Janet's Announcement Here

Dear Constituent,

It is an honor and privilege for me to represent you in the New York State Assembly.  I greatly appreciate the overwhelming bipartisan support I received in the November elections and look forward to continuing to serve the new 115th Assembly District.

Due to redistricting last year, the Assembly District number has changed to 115th, and I now represent all of the Clinton and Franklin Counties and 4 towns in St. Lawrence County.  The district is more than 3,000 square miles with one city (Plattsburgh), 37 towns, and 19 school districts.

I continue to work collaboratively with many of my Assembly colleagues both Republicans and Democrats.  Although we may have different political views, we share a common concern for the well-being of our constituents, the realization that we must find ways to relieve the burden on our local businesses, and a desire to make the right decisions at the right time.

A critical and the most visible part of the Assembly position takes place in Albany passing the budget and voting on legislation. The most rewarding part of the position takes place in the District while assisting individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, local governments and school districts.  Working together to improve the quality of life in the North Country is most satisfying.

I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you.  I appreciate hearing from constituents on matters of concern. If you have any issues you want to discuss with me, please feel free to contact me.
